What We Do
At Prince George Ag, we give construction drywall waste a second life.
Dump it at PG, and we’ll do the rest. We partner with contractors, manufacturers, and developers to responsibly recycle drywall—returning it to the community in healthy, sustainable ways through agriculture, construction, and industry.
Why Choose PGAG to recycle with?
We offer lower disposal costs compared to traditional landfill tipping fees, and through our efforts, we place money, time, and a cleaner environment back into local communities across Eastern Virginia and North Carolina. You may also qualify for certain LEED building credits.
Why Recycle Drywall?
When drywall ends up in a landfill, it breaks down and releases hydrogen sulfide gas—a foul-smelling, toxic chemical that poses long-term risks to both human health and the environment.
What many people don’t realize is that gypsum, the main component in drywall, is 100% recyclable and reusable.
Recycled gypsum is widely used in agriculture as a safe soil amendment that improves water absorption and nutrient uptake. It can also be reclaimed to manufacture new drywall, used as an additive in cement and concrete, and repurposed in numerous industrial and consumer products.
It just makes sense to recycle, and Prince George Ag is the first place in Virginia!

Going Beyond the Harvest
Strategically located in Prince George, Virginia, PGAG reclaims gypsum from drywall waste and delivers it directly to farms and local economies across Eastern Virginia and North Carolina.
We go beyond the harvest—transforming waste and environmental challenges into innovative recycling solutions that support healthy, thriving communities and sustainable agriculture.
